back from Texas, for a while anyway!

my best friend (forever) has started her own blog, you can see it at http://blandcraft.blogspot.com, it's really great, and she updates much more often than I do, so she's more interesting to read right now! She just finished a knitted babe, Goth Girl, which is awesome! it's obviously the middle of the night, and I can't sleep. again. I hate menopause!
But, got some of the best news of my life today, my sister's going to have a baby! I'm going to be an aunt, finally! I had just about given up hope for them, they've been trying a while, and now, success! WOO HOO!

you all know what that means for me though, don't you? that's right...baby knitting! I'm making a knitted babe right now out of misti baby alpaca, which i think will make a beautiful baby blanket!

Well, on to the homework and the packing up, Hubby will be here in a very short month to load up everything and take it to DFW! Now that I've been there a bit it's not so crazy to think about, but man do they like their interstates! in some places they have five or six overpasses stacked up! you don't get on the city streets for anything over a mile, there's an interstate for that! I think it will make driving a bit crazy! oh, yeah, we went out to see Zathura last night, what a great movie! but it was at a Simon mall! go over 900 miles from home, and of course there's a Simon mall! It's bad enough to live in the hometown of the Simon family, but to move so far and still be surrounded by a Simon mall, it's just too much! Well, hopefully I can get to sleep now. We'll see.
