It's only April 2nd and already it's been up to 94 degrees. I can hear you all groaning, but really, it wasn't humid, so it was just warm, beautiful, windy and warm. we went out to try to find some of the geocaches in our area and discovered a beautiful park where there were at least 5 caches, but our GPS unit is aging out of usability (they are changing the satellites it uses or something like that), it was acting so funky we could not rely on it to say we were in the same place any 3 seconds in a row! Anyway, discovered a very cool park, got a bit of exercise, and a bit of sun too! had a good time. then took the wrangler out to get groceries, which barely fit with the two of us and Patrick! speaking of Patrick, he got a computer over the weekend, and discovered www.neopets.com to boot. boy oh boy will he have fun with neopets! it's basic training for playing online multiplayer games, designed for kids. lots of good clean games for them to play at least.
the walmart where we went to shop made me mad! they recently remodeled the store and in so doing they were made to get rid of one cabinet each of pattern storage. of course they just took off the end cabinet rather than making any move to weed out the patterns and still include everything in less space. so the simplicity patterns stop at 5645 or thereabouts, and of course the patterns I wanted were in the 9650's or something like that. naturally the clerks couldn't care less. stupid people, i guess i won't go back to walmart for my patterns any more. oh well.
well, it's getting late and i have to get up early to go to a food-handling class tomorrow so that i can serve popcorn during summer reading movie days. fun fun fun. can ya tell I'm excited?
