hey all, recovery from surgery went well, though I do still have some little knots under my scars, I'm sure they will eventually go away. nothing to worry about. started allergy shots again, yeah rah! i'm well into the 4th season of Buffy the vampire slayer, it's so much fun to watch her kick ass then be a dumb blonde kid. I'm catching up on a lot of what I missed when it was originally on, and now understand a lot more of what I did see way back when. of course i'm knitting up a ton of cute baby things, including this ultra cute halter top for Baby Dailey, for next summer, you can see it here: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring06/PATTkatja.html
Of course I'm doing it in PINK! it will be so cute! also got a purple sweater on the needles for the baby, it will be for christmas though, don't think the rest of the yarn will be in before I go see baby! (in August, yeah!)
I also made a skeleton doll out of the knit1 mag, i'll post a pic of it later. Working on a dragon for my friend Linda in Indiana, it should be very cool when finished!
I finally broke down and got my texas drivers license, they don't give you a new license to use at first, you have to wait about a month to get it in the mail, and until then you just have a piece of paper that says it's coming in the mail! very weird!
anyhow, there's a cool sweater pattern that I'd love to try, it's the geisha pattern from www. alchemyyarns.com, it's awesome!
oh, and if you haven't seen Debbie New's new book "Unexpected Knitting" you have to see it, she does the impossible with yarn! it's amazing! there are only about 30 patterns in the book, but lots of technique how-to and tons of very inspiring gallery shots of her stuff. you can see other reviews on Knitty.com. She's awesome and I want! (the book, get your mind out of the gutter! you perverts!)
getting late, more later!

Those knots under the incision...ouch those hurt. Mine took about 6 months before I couldn't feel them anymore. Nothing helps. You just have to endure.
BTW, just started reading your blog. I'll keep reading and try not to just be a lurker.
Ouch, those knots hurt. Mine took about 6 months to stop twinging.
BTW, I just started reading your blog. I'll keep reading and maybe not just be a lurker.
