it's been a while since i posted, and it's been pretty busy. we're getting ready to go on a short vacation to Big Bend, which should be fun. we're hoping not to be too cold. february is always busy with the performers showcase and staff day, so i'm a bit short of time off lately. I ordered some perfume samples from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, and they arrived today. They are awesome! There are scents like Sin, Depraved, Burial, Undertow, Desire, Follow Me, Boy...you get the idea. They are awesome! So far I've tried Burial, which i really like, Undertow, which is a bit too sweet for me, and Depraved, which is a bit nutty at first, but mellows nicely. Anything with undertones of patchouli is good in my book! They really rock. We also got our order from Past Patterns, which is shirt, pants and vest for DH, and bodice and skirt for me. It's about time to order the fabric for their pants, but in the meantime I can work on the shirts and underthings. It should be fun.
Next saturday i'm demonstrating some texas pioneer history for the library. More later!
