gosh, look what happens...

when you complain about having no readers! you find out that you do indeed have them! They exist! woo hoo! i'ts amazing what happens and who comes out of the woodwork! Hi Cheryl and Hi John! Long time no see. I'll be coming home in July for a few days for my neice's first birthday, and coming to see everyone at the library while I'm there. I finished a pair of house socks for someone who's coming here soon...but can't post the picture until after she's been here to recieve them...MOM! So, since I can't post that picture, I will post something I finished over the spring break vacation...that I had started on our trip to Canada about 3 or 4 years ago. So, here's the border to border socks....since they were begun in Canada and finished near the Mexican border! This pattern has a too-narrow toe for me, I'll have to do that a bit differently next time. This is from yarn bought in Canada, or maybe the UP of Michigan...it's something nice, but darn it, I can't remember what...Regia maybe? and of course I can't find the ball band right now. oh well.
last week i had to have a couple of cavities filled, they are the first real cavities I've ever had and man do my teeth still hurt! I'll never again fail to be sympathetic when someone's having dental work. OW!!!
ok, whining over.
It's spring and of course that means school visits for librarians...i have about three scheduled so far. it makes for a busy day to go talk to 500 to 1000 kids and then finish the rest of the day at work like normal. The good thing is that we have the Summer Reader program now to manage our summer reading program. This will make a huge difference in our level of busy-ness this year. Well, I've bored you all enough for now, more later!
