it's been a long busy summer

I know it's been a long time since I posted, that is the life of a children's librarian during the summer!

Now it's football season, so I'm spending lots of time at football practice, but still missing most of the games. All the games are on Saturdays and I only have one saturday each month. It's pretty tough to get to any games. That's the thing that really stinks about working all the time, I can't be there for my child when I want and need to be there. That sucks. I like my job and like working, because, lets face it, you have to get out of the house and have some real human interaction, but I truly hate it that my son has to come home to an empty house, and sometimes his Dad puts him to bed before I get home. it Sucks, sucks, sucks.

on the other hand I have money to allow him to play football, to have nice things and to do pretty much what he wants...

Been knitting a lot of baby things this summer, seems like all my coworkers are poppin' out babies at a great rate! Gotta love those Baby Kimonos from the Mason Dixon Knitting book, those gals are awesome!!!!! I've made two of those in just a few days, they are totally easy and cute!
